The collar has a hooking unit i.e. ring, connected to one of ends (111) of a link to hook the collar to a lifting unit. The link includes a releasing device (12) to link and detach the other end of the link to and from the lifting unit by a command and to release a load such as animal. A longe (14) allows a remote operation of the releasing device. The releasing device includes an arm to open or close the ring. An independent claim is also included for an animal lifting system comprising a clamp.
