Document camera presentation device with remote control masking mode

A document presentation device comprising a camera to capture and display a video image and a wireless remote control to modify the displayed video image, wherein the remote control operates a masking mode in which a predetermined portion of the video image is masked in a horizontal and/or vertical direction, and the masked region is re-sized and shifted position using the remote control. The brightness differential between the masked region and the rest of the image, which is highlighted, is preset in advance. A masking button on the remote control may instruct displaying the masked region, and direction buttons may adjust the size and position of the masked region around the display. The advanced user controls on the presentation device allows the displayed images on a monitor or projector to be delivered clearly and effectively during a presentation, lecture, conference or speech.
