PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field emission light-emitting device in which the loss of radiation light emitted from a phosphor can be reduced with a simple structure.;SOLUTION: A field emission light-emitting device 10 comprises an anode substrate 1 having a substrate surface on which an anode electrode 2 is arranged, and a cathode substrate 6 having a substrate surface on which a cathode electrode 3 is arranged. The anode substrate 1 and the cathode substrate 6 are arranged so that the substrate surfaces face each other, and the anode substrate 1 further includes a plurality of phosphor layers 4. The plurality of phosphor layers 4 are arranged at a distance from each other at least one of between the anode substrate 1 and the anode electrode 2 and on the anode electrode 2. The cathode substrate 6 further includes an emitter 5 arranged on the cathode electrode 3.
