PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gastrostomy catheter capable of confirming easily by either an expert or an unskilled person that the indwelling part in a body of the gastrostomy catheter is retained in the stomach, without using a special instrument.SOLUTION: The gastrostomy catheter includes: a catheter body including the indwelling part in the stomach and a body surface fixing part; and a changeable part in which the embodiment is visually changed by bringing it into contact with the gastric juice, and the changeable part is provided over the indwelling part in the stomach and the body surface fixing part. As the embodiment on the body surface fixing part side is visually changed thereby by bringing the fixing part side in the stomach of the changeable part into contact with the gastric juice, an operator can confirm that the indwelling part in the stomach of the gastrostomy catheter is appropriately retained in the stomach.
