PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photobioreactor which can dismantle a cell colony into pieces having proper sizes without damaging the cell colony to promote proliferation thereof, and can consequently contribute to obtaining the competitive power of the biofuel market.;SOLUTION: The photobioreactor 100 is characterized by including a culture tank 104 in which a culture liquid 102 is introduced to culture a colonial alga for immobilizing carbon, and a gas-sending device 110 which is disposed in the culture tank 104, and is used for sending a gas containing carbon dioxide into the culture liquid 102 at a rate of one-fourth or more of the volume of the culture liquid 102 per minute to dismantle the cell colony of the colonial alga with the bubbles of the gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
