PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption required for opening/closing of shutters in stereoscopic vision glasses synchronized with stereoscopic video.;SOLUTION: A video presentation control device comprises: a left-and-right synchronization signal generation unit 22 that generates a synchronization signal for causing a right shutter unit 14R to perform opening/closing operations between an opening state and a closing state in order to allow an observer wearing stereoscopic vision glasses 1 to visually recognize right-eye video, and causing a left shutter unit 14L to perform opening/closing operations between an opening state and a closing state in order to allow the observer to visually recognize left-eye video; and a left-and-right shutter control signal creation unit 21 that controls the numbers of opening/closing times of the right shutter unit 14R and the left shutter unit 14L per unit time so that they are smaller than the numbers of update times of the right-eye video and the left-eye video per unit time when the right shutter unit 14R and the left shutter unit 14L are caused to perform opening/closing operations according to the synchronization signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
