PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-like nonwoven fabric comprising a biodegradable polymer and having flexibility and water retentivity.;SOLUTION: The sheet-like nonwoven fabric includes a fiber structure of a biodegradable polymer having a fiber diameter of 500 nm to 30 μm, in which the density alternately changes between low and high at an interval of 100 μm to 2 mm, and sparse contexture has a bulk density of 20 to 90 kg/m3 and dense contexture has a bulk density of 100 to 200 kg/m3.
