PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement the recommendation of contents meeting user preference and containing new information.SOLUTION: A content recommendation apparatus is provided which comprises a first feature amount generator which generates a first feature amount on the basis of a first type of information contained in first contents selected by a target user in the past, a second feature amount generator which generates a second feature amount on the basis of a second type of information contained in second contents selected by the target user after the selection of the first contents, a relational feature amount generator which generates a relational feature amount indicating a relationship between the first contents and the second contents on the basis of the first feature amount generated by the first feature amount generator and the second feature amount generated by the second feature amount generator, and a recommendation content retriever which retrieves contents recommended to the target user while using the first type of information contained in contents newly selected by the target user and the relational feature amount generated by the relational feature amount generator.
