PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new near infrared inhibitor capable of effectively inhibiting a near infrared ray.SOLUTION: The near infrared inhibitor contains a reflection component of a near infrared ray and the reflection component is formed by coating a metal particle dispersed in a hydrophobic solvent with a hydrophilic surfactant and/or an absorbing component of the near infrared ray. The absorbing component is formed by coating an outer layer of a water absorbing polymer coated with an oil phase or a hydrophilic surfactant with a polymeric emulsifier.
