PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting a phase difference of a stepping motor capable of extinguishing backlash to increase a torque, and to provide a stepping motor unit and a movable decoration device.;SOLUTION: A phase difference adjustment method includes: a first step of rotatively supporting motor gears C and D by means of rotation shafts of a plurality of stepping motors, and separately engaging the motor gears with a plurality of output gears A and B rotatively supported by means of one output shaft 12 in an overlapped state; a second step of energizing and exciting each stepping motor without switching over a magnetic pole to stop the rotation of the motor gears C and D; a third step of rotating the output gears A and B in the same direction to contact tooth surfaces a1 and b1 of the output gears A and B with tooth surfaces c2 and d2 of the motor gears C and D and to make the backlash be coincide in the same direction; and a fourth step of uniting the output gears A and B integrally.
