PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system of dividing an object based on a hybrid label.;SOLUTION: A method of dividing an object based on a hybrid label includes: a step of receiving a labeled stroke about pixels in an image including a target object; a step of constructing a foreground model and a background model based on a foreground stroke and a background stroke in order to classify unlabeled pixels corresponding to an indeterminate stroke into foreground pixels or background pixels; and a step of calculating probability that one or more pixels corresponding to the indeterminate stroke are foreground pixels based on the classified foreground pixels and background pixels, determining the pixels having probability which is lower than a lower limit value as the background pixels, and determining the pixels having probability which is higher than an upper limit value as the foreground pixels.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
