PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables the position or direction of installation of an artificial hip joint to be directly checked in an operative field, which dispenses with expensive equipment, and which enables the manufacture of an easily-transportable auxiliary member for supporting total hip replacement arthroplasty.;SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of making a three-dimensional model of an artificial hip joint installation region; a step of acquiring information including at least either of a position and a direction for installing an acetabular component or a femur component; and a step of making a three-dimensional model for making the auxiliary member for supporting the total hip replacement arthroplasty, which comprises a bone fitting portion (a) for being fitted to at least a part of the three-dimensional model of the artificial hip joint installation region and an installation information indicating portion (b)for indicating the information including at least either of the position and the direction for installing the acetabular component or the femur component, on the basis of the three-dimensional model of the artificial hip joint installation region and the information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
