PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a green wall unit to be attached easily to a structure without damaging a mullion or a transom.;SOLUTION: The green wall unit 2 including a solid culture soil (a planting base) 3 in which a plant is planted, and a solid culture soil-holding portion (a planting base-holding portion) 4 for holding the planting base 3, is installed along the wall face of a structure 21 constructed by a curtain wall method. A panel material 8 having the periphery parts fitted in glass grooves 22a and 23a formed in the mullions 22 and 22, and the transoms 23 and 23 is installed in a region surrounded by the mullions 22 and 22 adjacent in the horizontal direction of the structure 21 in the curtain wall, and the transoms 23 and 23 positioned between the mullions 22 and 22 and adjacent to each other in the vertical direction.
