PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable scale allowed to be easily carried by a person often taking a lunch or the like out because of diet or health management and capable of accurately measuring dietary intake weight, and to provide a management system such as a cellular phone interlocking with the portable scale.SOLUTION: A top board of the scale is small so that the scale can be easily carried, but the top board is provided with an extension mechanism so that the weight of a dish of about 28 cm at maximum can be measured and a monitor is placed on a position separated by at least 12.5 cm from a measurement center to measure the total weight of a large dish and a meal on the dish. By photographing the overall aspect of the meal by a digital camera, registering the total weight 1 of each dish before taking the meal and the total weight 2 of each dish after taking the meal in photographic data and calculating 2-1, accurate intake weight of each dish can be calculated and accurate dietary management can be performed by storing the overall aspect of the meal and accurate intake data.
