PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more exactly determine danger of ignition and to thereafter perform stopping operation of a high voltage generator in optimum timing, by directly monitoring voltage to be applied to a dust collection part.;SOLUTION: The safety control apparatus 6 of the electric dust collector 1 includes: a high voltage generator 4 for applying a high voltage to a charge part 2 and a dust collection part 3; and a lamp circuit 5 that generates a low voltage proportional to a voltage between dust collection electrode plates 31a, 31b constituting the dust collection part 3 and that utilizes the generated low voltage as the driving voltage of an operation lamp 51. The apparatus also includes: a sensor part 7 with the driving voltage of the lamp circuit 5 as input; a timer part 8 connected to the sensor part 7; and a relay part 9 connected to the timer part 8. The apparatus is configured to successively operate the sensor part 7, the timer part 8 and the relay part 9 by using the driving voltage of the operation lamp 51 outputted from the lamp circuit 5 and to finally shut off between the high voltage generator 4 and a power source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
