PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frictional resistance reducing coating which can reduce frictional resistance between water and a ship body surface in a so-called outside flow such as ocean by a Toms effect.;SOLUTION: Since a water-soluble polymer contained in a coating film formed of the frictional resistance reducing coating forms a secondary structural body, an eddy structure formed in the vicinity of a coating surface is made to fade out, and thus the frictional resistance between the water and the ship body surface can be reduced by forming the coating film on the ship body surface by reducing the frictional resistance between the water and the ship body surface.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
