PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire factor information of a burst by specifying a period of time in which an attention degree of an article in an electric commerce is bursted.;SOLUTION: In a burst information retrieval apparatus 1 is provided which retrieves factor information of a burst of an article served in an electric commerce, a time-series data creation unit 104 creates and stores in a time-series data DB 105 time-series data for each article on the basis of an electric commerce log storing a history in which information indicating attention degrees of articles served in the electric commerce is recorded. A burst detection unit 106 detects a period of time in which the attention degree is bursted from the time-series data DB 105 and stores in a burst DB 107 identification information of the article in which the burst has been detected, a time zone of the period of time and a degree of the burst. A burst factor retrieval unit 109 specifies, as factor information of the burst, information obtained from a retrieval log DB 110 or by retrieval using a Web search engine group 111, based on the identification information on the article specified from the burst DB 107 and the period of time of the burst.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
