PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a document for enhancing the possibility of identifying the source of any document leakage.SOLUTION: A document creation apparatus that creates replacement documents of the number to be distributed in which character strings in electronic documents are replaced with different character strings comprises replaceable part specifying means that specifies replaceable parts, where the character strings in the electronic documents are replaceable with the different character strings, by referencing a database in which target character strings to be searched for in the electronic documents are stored in association with replacing character strings; and replacing means that selects a prescribed number of replacement parts to be actually replaced out of the replaceable parts so that the combination of replacement parts in a replacement document does not coincide with the combination of replacement parts in another replacement document, and creates the replacement document by replacing the character strings in the selected replacement parts with replacing character strings matching the target character strings to be searched for that coincide with the respectively pertinent character strings.
