PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a sucking and attaching member, a sucking and attaching member, and a mounting method of an electric connector capable of readily being produced and suppressing bending displacement of a housing in solder connection at its minimum.;SOLUTION: In the electric connector, a top face of a housing 11 has width edges in a lateral direction and side edges in a longitudinal direction. A sucking and attaching member 2 is made by processing a metal plate with flexibility, and has a plate part 21 covering at least a part of the top face of the housing 11, and an attachment part 22 by which the plate part 21 is attached to the housing 11 at the midway of the side edge of the housing 11 in the longitudinal direction. The plate part 21 is formed of an attaching region as a region between both ends of the attachment part 22 in the longitudinal direction, and non-attaching regions beyond the attaching region to its tips in the longitudinal direction. The attaching region is provided with the attachment part 22 at an edge portion of the attaching region. The non-attaching regions include the tips as free ends and bendable parts as at least parts of those.
