PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a congestion notification method, a congestion notification device, a congestion notification program for detecting the congestion of an ad hoc network.;SOLUTION: A gateway 100 includes a storage unit 110, a communication unit 120, an increment amount calculation unit 130, a dispersion calculation unit 140, a deviation value calculation unit 150, and an alarm notification unit 160. The communication unit 120 acquires data of the number of hops included in a packet received from a connection destination node for each node, and stores the data in the storage unit 110. The increment amount calculation unit 130 calculates, with referring to the storage unit 110, the increment amount of a route length, based on the number of the hops included in the preceding and succeeding packets, which is acquired by the communication unit 120. The dispersion calculation unit 140 calculates the dispersion of the increment amount. The deviation value calculation unit 150 calculates a deviation value of dispersion.
