PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure steam sterilizable or high-pressure steam sterilized outer cylinder package for a prefilled syringe, which is easily manufactured and has extremely low possibility of causing degradation in sealability and deformation of a container body after high-pressure steam sterilization.SOLUTION: The high-pressure steam sterilizable or high-pressure steam sterilized outer cylinder package 1 for a prefilled syringe stored with a plurality of outer cylinders for a prefilled syringe includes a container body 2, an outer cylinder holding member 4 holding the plurality of outer cylinders 6 for the prefilled syringe stored in the container body, a releasable sheet shape lid member 3 to seal an upper face opening of the container body. The container body includes opening parts 22 provided on the bottom part, and an air permeable sealing member 5 to seal the openings. The air permeable sealing member has bacteria impermeability and permir free vapor passage. The inside of the container body communicates with outer atmosphere via the air permeable sealing member.
