PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber sensor type intrusion detecting method and an optical fiber type intrusion detecting sensor capable of improving a detecting sensitivity of an intruder by discriminating vibrations of a fence by wind from vibrations of the fence by the intruder.;SOLUTION: An optical fiber sensor type intrusion detecting method according to the present invention uses a Sagnac interference-type optical fiber sensor to detect an intrusion into a structure. The Sagnac interference-type optical fiber sensor includes: an optical fiber loop disposed along a structure; and a sensor body including a signal processing unit that is connected to the optical fiber loop for processing and detecting vibrations generated in the structure as a sensor voltage. In the intrusion detecting method, a threshold is updated into a threshold voltage capable of detecting the intrusion/non-intrusion into the structure, according to a dispersion value of a sensor voltage detected by the signal processing unit, and the threshold voltage after the update is compared with the sensor voltage to detect the intrusion/non-intrusion into the structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
