ACTIVE CARBON FIBER, DRAINAGE TREATMENT APPARATUS USING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF EVALUATING THE ACTIVE CARBON FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active carbon fiber with increased treating capability in a liquid, a drainage treatment apparatus using the same, and a method of evaluating the active carbon fiber.;SOLUTION: The active carbon fiber according to the invention comprises a catalytic activity as an active carbon fiber with a zero charge point of 8.0 or higher. By using an active carbon fiber with a high zero charge point, a compact facility having a high oxidizing ability can be achieved. Moreover, since the liquid-phase oxidation rate can be quantitatively obtained using the zero charge point, the active carbon fiber can be quantitatively evaluated. Furthermore, since the oxidation rate can be obtained using the zero charge point, the extent of deterioration and lifetime of the active carbon fiber can be easily recognized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
