PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of efficiently obtaining an influence coefficient of a rotary machine, without giving an excessive load on a worker.;SOLUTION: A supporter 3c for supporting a rotor 2, a driving device 3b for rotating the rotor 2, a computing portion 7 for holding and calculating an influence coefficient and unbalance data in the rotor 2, and first master work 2b and second master work 2c which are the rotors the unbalance data of which are already known, are prepared. The vibrations and a rotation angle of the first master work 2b during rotations are measured, and the computing portion 7 produces vibration data about the first master work 2b from the vibrations and the rotation angle. The vibrations and a rotation angle of the second master work 2c during rotations are measured, and the computing portion 7 produces vibration data about the second master work data 2c from the vibrations and the rotation angle.
