PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor for detecting a specimen contained in a droplet while suppressing decrease in sensitivity by preventing diffusion between solvents sequentially fed in different liquid interfaces.SOLUTION: A chip for detecting a specimen is used for detecting a specimen suspended in a solvent. The chip for detecting a specimen comprises: a feeding substrate having a feeding electrode for feeding the droplet of the solvent; a counter substrate facing the feeding substrate; a channel through which the droplet passes and which is formed between the feeding substrate and the counter substrate; and a fixing unit arranged in a part of the channel, and in which a ligand is immobilized. The chip detects the specimen by retaining the droplet stay at the fixing unit.
