PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variation of material in a length direction of a steel strip.;SOLUTION: A device body 100 calculates a temperature history in a cooling process on each segment S from an injection pattern to each segment S, predicts a material characteristic value of each segment S by using the calculated temperature history, and calculates the injection pattern which satisfies a required specification of a material characteristic value on each segment S based on a difference between the predicted material characteristic value and the required specification of the material characteristic value. Thereby, the cooling process of the steel strip 3 is controlled based on the calculated injection pattern, and the variation of the material in the length direction of the steel strip 3 can be reduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
