PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound generating device capable of performing musical sound generation and audio reproduction simultaneously with a simple configuration.;SOLUTION: A musical sound generating device 10 generates musical sound data based on sound source data and synchronously outputs the musical sound data and audio data acquired separately from the musical sound data. The musical sound generating device 10 comprises: a channel assigner 130 which assigns a prescribed number of channels to the audio data and the musical sound data; readout control unit 110 which reads out the audio data and the musical sound data according to the assignment of the channels; and a signal processing unit 120 which controls a sound volume and performs mixing for each of the assigned channels on the read out audio data and the musical sound data to generate desired music. The channel assigner 130 determines a channel except the channels to which the audio data are assigned as a free channel, if there is no free channel.
