PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle inspection device which, when a bottle (different kind of bottle: a bottle having a shape that is not set) different from a normal bottle (a bottle having a shape that is set upon being filled) is included among objective bottles to be detected, is suitable for detecting the presence of a different kind of bottle.;SOLUTION: The bottle inspection device includes: a detection head fit from above to the bottle which is erected; and a plurality of photoelectric sensors which are disposed on different positions in a vertical direction and each eject a detection beam in a horizontal direction toward the direction of the detection head which is fit from above to the bottle, wherein, by utilizing observations whether a plurality of detection beams ejected in the horizontal direction from the plurality of photoelectric sensors on the different positions in the vertical direction are shielded on the upper end side of the detection head, the bottle inspection device recognizes whether the bottle to which the detection head has been fit is the normal bottle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
