PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for monitoring and diagnosing generator operation.SOLUTION: Diagnostic data 40 is acquired from a sensor S1 in a generator 112. A related computer system evaluates the diagnostic data 40 to determine whether an anomaly exists in the data. If an anomaly exists, the computer system can provide a fault code that indicates a character of an error in the generator 112 that caused the anomaly.
