PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the digestion efficiency of grass-based biomass.;SOLUTION: Grass-based biomass G10 in a vegetation digestion tank 10 is washed. In this washing method, for example, digestive juice W10 in the vegetation digestion tank 10 is discharged (step S121), and new digestion juice W100 is made to flow into the vegetation digestion tank 10 (step S124). By discharging the digestive juices W10 and making the new digestive juice W100 flow in, flow of digestive juice can be generated in the vegetation digestion tank 10 to wash the grass-based biomass G10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
