The raised high temperature combustion gas passes through a circulation space Y between the outer wall 3 of the sidewall of a double structure and the inner wall 3a in which fine holes are made, passes through a bottom face space Z between a furnace bottom face 4 and a charcoal material placing rooster 5, passes through the circulation hole 6c at the side face of the heating combustion chamber 6 and enters the heating combustion chamber 6 to form a high temperature circulation space. Thus the carbonization furnace 1 has a structure of carbonizing the carbonization material T three-dimensionally in a short time while circulating high temperature combustion gas and carbonization wood gas and while carbonization wood gas burns in the heating combustion chamber 6.
