RENEWAL CARD ISSUING SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renewal card issuing system and method for timely issuing a renewal card according to an accurate use situation.;SOLUTION: When data input related to a prescribed transaction is performed in a card terminal, the number of uses stored in the card is increased. A settlement subsystem performs an approval/non-approval settlement process to a transaction request, with a ciphertext of transaction information that is encrypted by an encryption key and the number of uses, used as attached data. Alternatively, whether it is a timing to renew the card or not is determined based on the number of uses. In response to a renewal determination request transmitted by the settlement subsystem, a membership management subsystem determines whether the card is renewed or not based on the number of uses, membership information, and card information.
