PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a third party from getting to know that a person taking an image is absent from a specific place when the image is shared on the network.SOLUTION: In an image distribution apparatus, a mobile phone 110 takes an image (S401), obtains position information at the time of taking the image (S402), adds the obtained position information to the image (S403), and transmits the image with the added position information to a blog server 120 (S405); and the blog server 120 receives the image with the added position information from the mobile phone 110 (S701), determines whether the position information added to the received image is within a predetermined area (S704), makes the image distributable when determining the position information is within the area (S705), and postpones the distribution of the image when determining the position information is not within the area (S706).
