PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibrator low in cost and a calibration method; and a calibration method for a CT apparatus.;SOLUTION: The position calibrator for an X-ray generator and detector in a CT apparatus includes a division window, a division window frame, a body frame, and a spring, wherein the division window frame supports the division window; one end of the spring is connected to the division window frame, while the other end is connected to the body frame. The calibration method for the CT apparatus, which includes the following steps: the step for calibrating a rotation plane, the step for calibrating a beam at the window, the step for aligning the detector with the focus of an X-ray tube after the X-ray tube is cooled, the step for aligning a collimator with the detector along the x-axial direction, the step for calibrating the collimator along the z-axial direction, repeats these same steps again in this order until the focus of the X-ray tube obtained by calibrating the collimator along the z-axial direction is based on a shift along the z-axial direction to have that of 0.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
