PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal foil having a filler-containing resin layer having a smooth surface and a thin insulation layer and serving as metal foil with an insulation layer, and to provide a method of manufacturing metal foil having a filler-containing resin layer which enables manufacturing metal foil having a filler-containing resin layer with good reproducibility and a large area.;SOLUTION: To achieve the above purpose, a filler-containing resin layer having a thickness of 0.1-3.0 μm, a glossiness of the layer surface of 200 and a surface roughness Ra of 25 nm, measured by an atomic force microscope in a measurement range of 5 μm×5 μm, is laminated on the smooth surface of metal foil having a smooth surface of a glossiness of the foil surface of 400 and a surface roughness Ra of ≤10 nm, measured by the atomic force microscope in a measurement range of 5 μm×5 μm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
