PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a forged component where a part to which sufficient yield strength is imparted and a yield-strength-reduced part for improving cutting workability are formed in one component in a non-tempered state.;SOLUTION: The method includes: a heat treatment process for heating a material to be worked at a temperature of ≥TVC+50°C and ≤1,350°C; a hot forging process for hot-forging the highly strengthening part of the material to be worked at a temperature of ≥1,000°C and not higher than the heating temperature in the heat treatment process, and the low-strengthening part of the material to be worked at a temperature of ≥AC3 point and ≤950°C to make equivalent strain amount of the low-strengthening part 0.2 or more; and a cooling process for the material to be worked so that the average cooling rate from 800°C to 600°C is ≥0.5°C/s and ≤2.0°C/s at the highly strengthening part and ≤1.0°C/s at the low-strengthening part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
