PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide timely and precise information to both clients and searchers by using the Internet to intermediate between the clients who request patent search and the searchers who do the patent search. SOLUTION: This server machine, when intermediating between clients who request patent search by use of an Internet line 3 and searchers who do the patent search, collects requirements for the search from a plurality of clients as to the contents of the patent search presented via the clients' terminals 2a, and requests the searcher who presented requirements suitable for the clients to do the patent search.
