PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance while keeping the strength of a leg part for supporting a keyboard instrument body, in a grandpiano-like keyboard instrument. PSOLUTION: A cover 61 for covering at least one part of a leg part body 6 and at least one part of an outer rim 23 of the piano body is fixed on the leg part body 6 and the out rim 23, and the leg part body 6 is fixed through the cover 61 to the outer rim 23 of the piano body as well. That is, the leg part body 6 is fixed to a keybed 21 and the outer rim 23. Therefore, it is possible to keep the strength required for supporting the piano body even if the piano body gives a light impression in its appearance by increasing the ratio of the dimensions of length and width of the leg body 6 by making the leg body 6 thin.
