PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for plant diagnosis to improve efficiency, in a plant diagnostic system for diagnosing control trouble of a plant and improving controllability of the whole plant.;SOLUTION: In this plant diagnostic method, when it is decided that there are numerous manual interpositions (manual operations) in a control loop that is a target in step S50, processing in step S70-step S140 is not executed. Similarly, when the control loop is manually operated, processing in step S90-step S140 is not executed, and processing in step S160-step S190 is also not executed. Thus, in the plant diagnostic method, when evaluation to automatic operation is not necessary because there are the numerous manual interpositions (the manual operations) or when the manual operation is performed, troublesome processing such as periodicity diagnosis (the step S90) or calculation (the step S120) of a controllability evaluation index can be skipped.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
