PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording liquid giving recorded matter having high blackness, capable of being prevented from blurring, having good printing quality, capable of giving good fastness, including light resistance and water resistance, of recorded matter, having low viscosity, capable of being well discharged, and having excellent storage stability.;SOLUTION: The carbon black has features (a) to (c) as follows: (a) an amount of 24M4DB absorbed thereon is not less than 100 cm³/100 g; (b) a D₇₅ is more than 45 nm and less than 120 nm; and (c) a TINT is more than 110%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
