PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nursery cold protection gear wearable by both a child-care giver and an infant, and excellent in fashionability while preventing invasion of cold air from the lower side of a body when wearing, and to provide a method for wearing the gear.SOLUTION: This nursery cold protection gear 1 is worn by wrapping a body of a nearly left-right symmetric form together with an infant through the side of a child-care giver. In more details, the nursery cold protection gear is worn by folding in a surplus fabric from a projected infant part to the waist of a child-care giver, and fixing body lower right and left parts 5 and 6 formed in a belt-like form by turning around the waist backside of a child-care giver.
