PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting contents of a mobile terminal device to be changed into contents designated by a non-contact type IC tag when the mobile terminal device is held over the non-contact type IC tag and a mode change is performed through user operation.;SOLUTION: When an IC tag reader/writer 11 built in a mobile terminal device 10 reads information of a non-contact type IC tag 20, setting contents of the mobile terminal device 10 are changed into setting value designated by the mobile terminal device 10 corresponding to the non-contact type IC tag 20 or setting value written into the non-contact type IC tag 20. Further, the mobile terminal device 10 is configured to perform subdivided detailed setting from the setting value that has been set. When the mobile terminal device 10 is moved into the user's own house, for example, a setting value of "in-home" is set to the mobile terminal device 10 through a communication between the non-contact type IC tag 20 installed at the entrance of the user's own house and the mobile terminal device 10.
