PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Ti-Nb-based shape memory alloy which is usable as a high temperature sensor, actuator, etc., used in a chemical plant, engine, etc., and operates under high temperature and also usable as a biomaterial.;SOLUTION: Niobium (Nb) is added at 20 to 50 wt.% to titanium (Ti) and further, palladium (P) is added at 0.5 to 14 wt.% thereto.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
