PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active vibration and noise control device for a vehicle, which minimizes the road noise generated while the vehicle is traveling on an asphalt paved surface, or on a concrete paved surface. PSOLUTION: In the active vibration and noise control device, when the vehicle is traveling on an asphalt paved surface, a first signal processor 51 to be operated at 40 Hz and a second signal processor 52 to be operated at 70 Hz are operated in parallel to reduce the road noise of 40 Hz and 70 Hz components. On the other hand, when the vehicle is traveling on a concrete paved surface, an increased component of 50 Hz included in the first control signal generated by the first signal processor operated at 40 Hz is subtracted from the first control signal Sc1 by a subtractor 318 to generate the canceled signal Scp1 by a first phase gain regulator 46, and only the noise component (the road noise component) of 40 Hz is effectively reduced.
