PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade design device capable of efficiently designing a blade with a smooth blade surface even a blade having a small boss ratio and a long blade length, and to provide the blade designed by the design device as well as a turbo machine using the blade.;SOLUTION: A two-dimensional blade cross section model design section 112 determines a two-dimensional blade cross section model by defining a two-dimensional cross section at each blade height with a fourth NURBS curve using information on a flow pattern obtained through a thermal design as well as a design variable held in a design variable section. A stacking section 114 obtains three-dimensional blade shape data by generating a fourth NURBS curved surface from a NURBS curve group which is formed by stacking, based on a centroid and a trailing edge, a plurality of the two-dimensional blade cross section models at respective blade heights designed by the two-dimensional blade cross section model design section.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
