PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic and therapeutic drug used in replacement of an antibacterial and antiprotozoan drug which restrains the excretion of oocysts from organisms having diseases caused by coccidium, effectively prevents and treats the diseases of humans or animals caused by coccidium, maintains the immunity against coccidium, shows high adjuvant effect for the immunity of humans or animals against light coccidium infection and favorably conforms to a consumer's taste for safety and nature. SOLUTION: A sugar cane-derived extract obtained by processing a sugar cane prevents and treats the diseases of humans or animals caused by coccidium and shows the adjuvant effect for the immunity of humans or animals against the light coccidium infection.
