PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of carrying out manual input of complicated conditions by simulating a connection diagram on the basis of the train position on a route map in a simulator for the railway signal CAD system that simulates operation of the connection diagram for the signal control by using the route map for the railway signal and the connection diagram for signal control which are prepared on a CAD screen.;SOLUTION: The simulator for a railway signal CAD system includes: an area setting means for setting the area where the train position on the route map is detected is set as the area for determining whether or not there is a train on the basis of the arrangement of signals, train detectors, and the like relative to a track on a route map for railway signals; a train position designation means for sequentially designating the train position on the route map for the railway signals based on the train speed; and a display means for operating the connection diagram for the signal control according to the train position on the determination area and for displaying the operating state. The problem can be solved since the simulation is carried out by designating the train position on the route map and by operating the connection diagram according to the position on the determination area of the train.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
