PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide zinc oxide nanoparticles for an ultraviolet light emitting body which have high crystallinity and are applicable to an ultraviolet light source or an ultraviolet laser with green luminescence being vanished, with a very simple process, a solution in which such nanoparticles are dispersed, and a method for producing the zinc oxide nanoparticles for the ultraviolet light emitting body.;SOLUTION: The zinc oxide nanoparticles for the ultraviolet light emitting body having the average particle diameter of 2-100 nm, and the solution in which the nanoparticles are dispersed are provided.
