PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting method and a detecting device for TVOC and an outside air intake control system, which are capable of accurately detecting TVOC.;SOLUTION: In the method for detecting a concentration of TVOC in a room 2 by using a semiconductor sensor 12, a sensitivity curve showing a relation between a concentration of TVOC and an output signal of the semiconductor sensor 12 is preliminarily obtained with respect to each absolute humidity. When a concentration of TVOC in the room 2 is detected by the semiconductor sensor 12, a temperature and humidity in a position of the semiconductor sensor 12 are measured by a temperature and humidity sensor 14 at the same time, absolute humidity is obtained on the basis of the measurement value, a concentration of TVOC corresponding to the output signal of the semiconductor sensor 12 is read from a sensitivity curve corresponding to the absolute humidity, an output signal corresponding to the read concentration of TVOC is read from a sensitivity curve defined as a true value, and this output signal is used as a correction value to correct temperature and humidity errors of the output signal of the semiconductor sensor 12.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
