PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PM emission amount estimating device of a diesel engine including a DPF for collecting the PM in exhaust gas provided in an exhaust passage of an engine which estimates a PM amount emitted to the outside even after the PM is collected, and to provide a diesel engine control device using the PM emission amount estimating device.;SOLUTION: The PM emission amount estimating device of the diesel engine includes: a basic PM emission amount estimating means for estimating the basic PM emission amount emitted to the exhaust passage from the engine according to the operation state of the engine; a PM cleaning ratio calculation means for estimating the ratio of the PM amount collected in the filter; and a PM emission amount calculation means for calculating the PM emission amount using the basic PM emission amount estimated by the basic PM emission amount estimating means and the PM cleaning ratio calculated by the PM cleaning ratio calculation means.
